Authorized Days Off (ADO)
An Authorized Day Off occurs when a cast member is granted the day off that they requested on the Labor Service Center section of The Hub. Cast members are allowed to visit the parks and use their blue IDs on ADOs due to the fact that they count as an additional day off for the cast member.
Relief of Shift (RoS)
A Relief of Shift occurs when the cast member gets to work and needs to leave for a serious reason. Such reasons could be that the cast member is sick, has received news of a relative or friend's death, etc. It is up to the cast member's managers to grant a Relief of Shift and one is never guaranteed. Cast members may not visit the parks or use their blue IDs after receiving a RoS since they have been deemed not in well enough condition to work, and therefore should not be in well enough condition to play in the parks. While an RoS does go on the cast member's record card, no points are given.
Early Release (ER)
When a cast member clocks in for their shift, they can request an Early Release. Throughout the day, Coordinators and Managers will monitor their staff and determine whether or not they can send some cast members home early. If the location is over staffed, there is a good chance some cast members will be released. It is up to the managers and coordinators to choose who gets sent home, and is not always on a first-come first-serve basis. If a cast member receives an ER, they are allowed to still visit the parks and use their blue IDs.
